Radiation Therapy Center Staff

Our staff at all our clinics and cancer center are exceptionally trained and dedicated in providing the best possible care.

Administration:    center administrative staff are responsible for the day to day operations of our clinics.  They are available to help you coordinate your medical records and correspondence with other physicians.  They are also instrumental in maintaining the center's medical records.

Oncology Nurses:

Our nurses are certified in the care of cancer patients.  They play an important role from the initial consultation, obtaining vital medical histories, to weekly evaluations during  radiotherapy and follow-up medical care.

Social Workers:

Our social workers provide ongoing assistance for our cancer patients.  They  coordinate home health services at home, transportation to and from the cancer center and act as an important liaison between the physicians and cancer services.  They also  help newly diagnosed patients on how to access cancer resources.

Radiation Therapists:  Radiation therapists are highly-skilled and well-trained individuals that deliver daily radiation therapy treatments on machines known as linear accelerators, as well as help in the planning (simulation) of radiation treatment fields.

Radiation Dosimetrist:

Our dosimetrists work in conjunction with our physicist  and physicians in developing accurate treatment plans.  The dosimetrists are vital in the treatment planning of our external beam patients as well as our prostate seed implants.

Radiation Physicist

Our radiation physicists have advanced degrees in radiation physics.  They monitor all patients receiving radiation treatments (both external beam and implants).  They review the accuracy of treatment calculations to ensure patient safety.  Rigorous inspections of all treatment equipment is carried out on a routine basis.
