| Cancer Center Research TrialsOur patients are offered the opportunity to participate in national studies approved by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). We are very active in clinical research in finding new treatments for patients. We have a dedicated team coordinating the data from our clinical trials. Through the NCI we also have the ability to offer our patients very select trials through other research groups such as the NSABP (National Surgical Adjuvant Breast Project), ECOG (Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group) and COG (Children's Oncology Group).

We are constantly offering
patients clinical trials developed in our cancer centers. Some of these
studies include combinations or slight alterations in standard treatments.
All our studies must be approved by our Institutional Review Board
that set clinical and ethical standards for our cancer centers. Many
of the current standards of practice for cancers of the cervix, anal canal and
esophagus were conceived and piloted in in-house clinical studies by members of
AROS with the help of local oncologists.
